What is Quertis

Quertis is a filing intelligence terminal that shows financial metrics and risk signals from SEC filings and answers natural language queries for a single stock or multiple stocks across the portfolio.

It is a research tool for hedge fund analysts who need to know hidden details in SEC filings accurately and instantly.

What Quertis Does

▸Extracts and structures 16 standardised financial metrics — gross margin, EBITDA margin, return on assets, debt-to-equity, current ratio, and more — directly from SEC filings, normalised across fiscal years.
▸Runs NLP-powered Q&A over the full text of SEC filings, allowing analysts to ask precise questions and receive source-verified answers drawn from the actual filing
▸Surfaces risk signals from filing language — including geographic revenue exposure (with specific focus on China concentration), operational risk factors, and forward-looking language
▸Delivers live market data — current price, market cap, P/E ratio — keeping the analysis anchored to the company's present valuation context.
▸Supports portfolio-level workflows: upload a CSV of tickers and weights, browse holdings, and run filing Q&A across multiple tickers without switching contexts.

What Quertis Is NOT

✕Not a ChatGPT for SEC Filings.We don't just run LLMs on SEC filings to get the answers. LLMs tend to hallucinate, provide incorect answers and are not efficient in handling multple filings across companies
✕Not a Bloomberg alternative for market data.It is a finaicial intelligence tool that extarcts and shows data for analyts and PMs, not a data terminal.
✕Not a financial model or valuation engine. Quertis extracts and displays reported figures. It does not project forward earnings, build DCF models, apply valuation multiples, or generate price targets. Interpretation and modelling remain with the analyst.
✕Not a compliance or regulatory reporting tool. Quertis is a research assistant. It does not audit filings, flag SEC violations, produce audit trails, or generate outputs suitable for regulatory submission. It carries no FCA authorisation or compliance certification.
✕Not a universal coverage platform. Coverage is currently US-listed equities filings. Foreign private issuers on US exchanges (filing 20-F under IFRS) have known data gaps. Non-US exchanges, ADRs backed by non-EDGAR sources, and private companies are out of scope.

Status, Known Issues & Limitations

This is a Proof-Of-Concept (POC) release aimed at getting early feedback. The tool is not yet ready for production usage.

Works only in a computer. Not optimised for mobile screens yet
Data available for limited tickers
Share Price is not live in POC release
Some data is not available yet. So charts will have missing data for some companies
Plots show one company at a time. They don't show multiple companies
Portfolio upload feature is not implemented yet
Supply Chain info is not available

All data in Quertis is sourced from the following upstream providers. We do not manufacture or impute data — missing values surface as blank rather than estimates.
